Australian artist Nicholas Mangan participates with “Termite Economies: Phase 2 #1” (2019), a work that represents a digital rendered termite hive from the project Termite Economies Phase 2, in which he researched the sophisticated chemical communication systems of termites: eusociality, pheromonal communication, building behavior, biomimicry, superorganism and swarm intelligence.
