"The work invites us to think about a critical history of collecting and its relationship with the Mapuche world.

In collaboration with the Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, we approached its collection of Mapuche pieces, whose uniqueness activates a critical potential that is not exhausted in the space of the exhibitable, seeking to concatenate times and contexts that go beyond the institution. (…) In promoting a contradiction of the works with different rhythms, transitions, and discursive orders that cross the community, the political, and the historical, the Mapuche pieces set aside their lethargic status to position themselves within a perspective that accounts for the condition of their circulation and emancipation. These pieces act as treasures, as relics, as the manifestation of social power, and as pieces detached from the diversity of purposes assigned to an order of display."
