The project Río Sil, lines and geometries by Irene Kopelman reiterates her landscape observation model: it affects the relationship between art and natural sciences, and brings us closer to a practice that reworks a particular geomorphological description by documenting various geological, topographical and lithological characteristics.
The project was developed over more than two years and structured into three periods of research and field work, thanks to the invitation of the María José Jove Foundation, and with the collaboration of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos of the UDC, and the professor Víctor Barrientos. As well as the subsequent incorporation of the Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia, as the venue for the exhibition.
