On Thursday 28th at 4:30-5:30 PM (EST), Pedro Reyes will participate via zoom in a conversation with Leetha Filderman, Sara Kutchesfahani, Rachel Bronson and Pedro Alonzo as part of the inaugural virtual nuclear mixer of N Square DC Hub and PopTech. They will speak about Pedro Reyes´s 3-story inflatable mushroom cloud “Amnesia Atómica” created to raise public awareness and most importantly put pressure on political leaders and global citizens by reminding them of the consequences of inaction.
These conversation seeks to increase intersectional opportunities within the nuclear threats community, and to provide paths to broader public engagement. Demonstrate the power of artistic and creative expression as tools for understanding a complex global issue.
